Internationally Famous NASA Researcher and CKSC Alumnus Johnny Hsieh, Ph.D. Gave a Lecture at CKSC

Johnny Ke Chang Hsieh, Ph.D., an alumnus of CKS Senior High School Class of 1958 (valedictorian) and currently an internationally famous NASA researcher and physics professor at Arizona University gave a lecture on “Values System for the Youth Today” on July 21 (Monday), 9:30 a.m. at the CKSC Auditorium to 3rd and 4th year high school students.
Dr. Johnny Hsieh finished his Bachelor of Arts at Wabash College, a Liberal Arts College for Men and Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Chicago. He was a recipient of El Pasa Award for Most Outstanding Professor. He has been a visiting professor at the Max Planck Institute in Germany. He also helped in setting up the development of satellite monitoring projects in Taiwan and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Dr. Hsieh has done more than 100 researches and has been invited to numerous international conferences as a forum resource speaker. He has been adviser to several master’s and doctoral students in Arizona State University. In the past, he has conducted 2 lectures before our high school students.
A true Christian by faith and religion, Dr. Hsieh is a key person in the Episcopal Mission Church in Arizona and chairman of the Episcopal Campus Ministry Foundation.
