In order to prepare students and teachers for online and hybrid classes, Chiang Kai Shek College, organized by the Livelihood Education Learning Area, is kicking off the new school year by promoting interest in healthy activities at this year's Zoom-ba to Good Nutrition featuring the faculty members sweat to fitness at the school quadrangle,  July 15.

Faculty members display their moves in their Zumba session led by the LE teachers, Mrs. Danica Eranista, Mrs. Jessa Lou Mangas, and Mrs. Nerissa Dela Cruz.

Online performance tasks are also given to students per grade level: Grade 4 - Vlogging; Grade 5 - Slogan Making; Grade 6 - Poster Making; Grade 7 - Food Prep Show/One-Minute Monologue; Grade 8 - Meal Plan Infographics; Grade 9 - Nutrition Jingle; and Grade 10 - Digital Slogan Making/Spoken Poetry about Nutrition. Students’ best works will be compiled for an institutional viewing from August 1 to 5.

“We are happy that everyone is participating…nakakataba ng puso that our CKSC community is working as one to really build this interest most especially during this new normal and students are going back to school,” Mrs. Ma. Cristina De Los Reyes, LE Coordinator said, “Let's support nutrition behavior improvement and health promotion even in our simplest way possible," she ended.

The activity supports DepEd’s July Nutrition Month Program with the theme “New Normal  na Nutrisyon Sama-samang Gawan ng Solusyon” which seeks to strengthen nutrition awareness while fostering resilience amidst the pandemic challenges.
