It’s not only CKSC students making the school proud. Alumni are also giving back by bringing honor to their Alma Mater.

Justin Shaun Chua of high school batch 2008 was recently drafted as overall 10th pick in the 2013 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) annual Rookie Draft Pick. Being one of the most illustrious players to ever come out of CKSC, he led the Blue Dragons to winning the 2007 Metro Manila Tiong Lian Basketball Association crown. After his graduation, he was taken in by Ateneo de Manila University and during his five years at the latter, he was part of the five-peat UAAP Champion team steered by Norman Black. He also played at the PBA D-League. Justin will be playing for Globalport in his initial year with the only professional basketball league in the Philippines.

Bianca Lorraine Sing of high school batch 2011 was one of the six chosen winners in the Bright Young Manila. Launched by Chalk Magazine in 2006, Bright Young Manila awarded chosen young men and women who are starting to make big names and marks in their chosen fields. Previous awardees include actress Denise Laurel, fashion designer Veejay Floresca, model Valerie Weignmann, artist Leeroy New, blogger Tricia Gosingtian, MYX VJ Chino Jui Pio, singer Lea Salonga, and designer Rajo Laurel. Bianca, with her passion for fashion and the heart for public service, has already styled celebrities, such as: Zsazsa Padilla, Vina Morales, Amanda Griffin, and Kathryn Bernardo! She’s really a stylist to watch! Of course, her feat was featured in Chalk Magazine.

Congratulations to Justin and Bianca!
