Once again, CKSC students made good account of themselves in local and international events.

Oliver John Christian Liu, a sophomore Marketing student at the Faculty of Business, Arts, and Sciences and volunteer senior scout outfit adviser of Chiang Kai Shek College, was one of only two delegates from the Philippines during the 14th World Scout Moot held from August 8 to 18, 2013 at Awacamenj Mino's Outdoor Camp, Quebec, Canada. More than two thousand scouts, aged 18 to 25 years old from eighty-eight countries across the globe, joined the Moot. The highlight of his participation in the event came when he was selected to join the legislative simulation of the Canadian Parliament House in Ontario, the seat of government of the Commonwealth nation.

Four KAB scouts were recognized by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines' National Court of Honor during the ceremonies held last August 31 at P. Gomez Elementary School. Eisner Jaden Sy, Ronnel A. Yu, Renz Meo L. Chua, and Emmett Brahnan L. Di were presented with the Leaping Usa (Deer) Award, the highest advancement rank for KAB Scouts whose ages range from 5 to 7 years old.

The Wushu team, the Filipino, and Chinese Folk Dance Troupes received warm rounds of applause when they performed during the welcome dinner for Chinese volunteer teachers who attended a workshop-seminar held at the FFCCCII Exhibit Hall last August 30.
