Students from Grades 5 and 6 designed their Eco-T-shirts and bags. The designers of these items were given the chance to show their works of art during the fashion show. Everyone cheered for their favorite ramp models as they strutted the stage with vibrant and confident smiles Best female and male models were chosen by a board of judges, composed of Mrs. Catherine Alvarez, grade school Mathematics Head teacher, Ms. Marcela Cruz, grade school office staff and Ms. Viva Celina See, a friend of CKSC.

Adding delight to the crowd was the fashion show of the Grades 5 and 6 advisers and Science teachers. In between the catwalk was the showing of environmental film clips, hand mime presentation of 5-A students and viewing the footage of interviews conducted from selected administrators, teachers and students. The fashion show ended with the heartfelt singing of “We Are The World” by some selected Grade 6 students.

Truly, this program is a way to make students, teachers, and the whole Chiang Kai Shek College become a community and a responsible steward of Mother Nature for the present and future generations.
