Since 2006, the Virtuosos concert series has been built into a brand that stands for the very best that Philippine music has to offer. Held in February in celebration of National Arts Month, the series has established a tradition of showcasing the virtuosity of acclaimed soloists in an evening of the best of classical music. Starting with Virtuosos 2006 featuring the talents of twelve pianists performing with two symphony orchestras, followed by Virtuoso Strings in February 2007 which presented solo, chamber and orchestral string performers, the series is one that local and expatriate audiences have come to associate with quality performances.
The artistic staff includes Floy Quintos as stage director. Maestro Eugene Castillo as music director, Monino Duque as lighting designer and Gino Gonzales as stage designer.
