CKS College holds career talks with parents
CKS College held a Career Orientation Talk with parents of the Junior and Senior High students at the CKS College Auditorium last February 13, 2016 (Saturday).
Mrs. Eugenia Martin, directress of the English Academic Instruction, welcomed the parents who took the time off their own busy schedules in the interest of their children's careers.
Dr. Raymond Datuon, School of Education Dean and Senior High School Program Head, gave a comprehensive update on the development of the K–12 program. He clarified issues concerning the opportunities and chances of admission of CKS College students to universities of their choice. Dr. Datuon also expounded on the different tracks open — ABM, STEM, HUMSS, GA as Sports and Arts — as gateways for students seeking the right career paths. Moreover, he informed the parents of the Memorandum of Agreement between CKS College and De La Salle University that would better prepare CKS College graduates seeking admission to the university.
The guest speaker, Mr. Jun Geronimo, offered essential information on career paths and choices. The talk was interactive and productive, and gave a better view of the programs available for incoming senior high students.
