Mona Lisa U. Pua, a CKSC high school graduate of Batch 2002 recently placed 3rd place in the June, 2007 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination.

A consistent honor student and dean’s lister since grade school, Mona Lisa finished her grade school at CKSC Batch 1998 and earned her college degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Chinese General Hospital College of Nursing and Liberal Arts in 2006. She initially studied her freshmen year at the University of Santo Tomas (B.S. Biology) but decided to pursue her true calling of being a full-time nurse and shifted to Chinese General Hospital.

Mona Lisa has received numerous awards and achievements during her stay at the Chinese General Hospital College of Nursing and Liberal Arts, among them: 1st place- Nursing Quiz Bee, Emergency and Acute Care Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing, 2nd place- Clinical Proficiency, Adult Health Nursing, and Maternal Health Nursing. In January 2007, she was able to earn her certificate from the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) from the prestigious California Board of Registered Nursing.

Previously, Mona Lisa’s elder sister, Natalie Cristy U. Pua, also a graduate of CKSC High School Batch 1998 and CKSC B.S. Computer Science Batch 2002 landed 6th Place in the Government Licensure Examination for Teachers in August 2006.
