Once again, CKSC students made good account of themselves in local and international events.
Oliver John Christian Liu, a sophomore Marketing student at the Faculty of Business, Arts, and Sciences and volunteer senior scout outfit adviser of Chiang Kai Shek College, was one of only two delegates from the Philippines during the 14th World Scout Moot held from August 8 to 18, 2013 at Awacamenj Mino's Outdoor Camp, Quebec, Canada. More than two thousand scouts, aged 18 to 25 years old from eighty-eight countries across the globe, joined the Moot. The highlight of his participation in the event came when he was selected to join the legislative simulation of the Canadian Parliament House in Ontario, the seat of government of the Commonwealth nation.

Last September 2, 2013, two high school teams from Chiang Kai Shek College joined the 20th annual Biosciences Quiz Bee, sponsored by the U.P. Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Society.
The contest consisted of three rounds. The elimination round was a written exam. From almost 100 students from different high schools, 15 teams moved to the semi final round, and only the top 5 teams, composed of 2 teams from Philippine Science High School, 1 team from St. Jude Catholic School, and 2 teams from Chiang Kai Shek College, moved to the finals.

The Chiang Kai Shek College High School and Grade School Student Councils had their joint induction of officers at the main campus conference room last August 30, 2013 with the College President Dr. Dory Poa, the Vice President Mrs. Carmelita Espino, and heads of the Grade School and High School Discipline Offices in attendance.

Itinanghal na kampeon si Kyra Nicole Ang, kinatawan ng Chiang Kai Shek College, sa pandibisyong patimpalak na Talumpatian na inilunsad at ginanap sa Colegio de San Juan de Letran noong ika-28 ng Agosto, 2013. Ang patimpalak ay bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa na may temang “Ang Wika Natin ang Daang Matuwid”.

Chiang Kai Shek College students fared well in the National Achievement Tests (NAT) for School Year 2012-2013 based on the just released results from the Department of Education.
In the fourth year level, CKSC ranked second overall in Cluster 2 of the Division of City Schools Manila, composed of schools with two hundred or more examinees. The results in grade six were also impressive, with CKSC ranking third overall in the same cluster.

True to their motto of "Be Prepared", boy and girl scouts of Chiang Kai Shek College showed their readiness to help when they extended service on at least four separate occasions, done immediately after successive days of heavy monsoon rains brought by typhoon "Maring" battered the Philippines.
