Three More Champions from CKSC!

Last October 3, ten talented pupils of CKSC Wong Chun Seng Memorial Preschool, namely: Joedi M. Costes , Penelope N. Rosales, Harmony R. Uy, Sambino Nelly B. Hsu, Andrew C. Lim Un, Jeremy Keane Q. Yu, Josiah Cody Y. Ang, Tyler Ismael P. Uy, Akeisha Mhae Diaz, and Janine Kayden T. Angeles represented Chiang Kai Shek College as a team and emerged as Champion when they competed against twelve other private schools in Manila during the “Dula-dulaan – Ang Langgam at ang Tipaklong”, sponsored by Manila Association of Private Preschool Administrators (MAPPRESA) held in Philippine Academy of Sakya.

At their young age, these children were filled with confidence and hope. After months of practice, their hard work paid off. The children and their trainers, Mrs. Luzviminda Sim and Mrs. Janet Dy, were in high spirits as they were proclaimed overall winner. Indeed, CKSC got talent!

At another competition, in the HISTUNGGALIAN 2013: Inter-High School History and International Studies Competition, sponsored by the International Studies Society of the University of the East-Manila’s College of Arts and Sciences, held  at the multi-media room of their PODCIT building last September 26. Chiang Kai Shek College, the only Chinese-Filipino school joining, emerged as Champion out of twenty competing schools. The school was represented by Chinarah Agatha Tayamora and Ryan Martin Tan. They received cash prize of one thousand five hundred pesos, certificates, and medals. The team was trained by Mrs. Judith Penaflor.

CKSC also emerged as Champion in the 23rd GMATIC sponsored by Grace Christian College Mathineers Club last October 9, 2013. The school was represented by Clyde Wesley Ang, Andrew Brandon Ong, and Renzo Roel Tan. In the same competition, Clyde Wesley Ang also won 2nd Place in the individual category. The team was trained by Mrs. Armi R. Mogro.
