CKSC students and alumni continue giving honor to their Alma Mater!

Jan Bendric Co Borbe of high school batch 2009 placed 8th in the Medical Technologist Board Examination held by the Professional Regulation Commission last August 31 and September 1 with a rating of 89.70%. He graduated with the degree Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Santo Tomas and he is currently taking up Medicine at the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.

The Ateneo Mathematics Society held its annual Mathematics contest, “SIPNAYAN 15” last September 7 with the theme "Go the Distance". Out of seventy-nine teams from public and private schools in the National Capital Region, including different Filipino-Chinese schools, only twenty-four teams qualified for the Final Round. And from these remaining teams, six schools were selected competed for the title. Team CKSC, composed of Clyde Wesley Ang, Andrew Brandon Ong, and Renzo Roel Tan, emerged Champion and received a trophy for the school, gold medals, and five thousand pesos cash prize. 

Gabriel Sedrick Alkuino and Justine Anjelica Rodriguez won third place in the Brainmesh 2013: Luzon-wide Inter-High School Quiz Show, sponsored by the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers - University of the Philippines Student Unit (PSME-PSU). The contest was also held last September 7 at U.P. Diliman. More than thirty teams, each with two students, analyzed and solved questions in the fields of Mathematics and Physics. Team CKSC, trained by Mrs. Monnette Defeo, won certificates, medals, and a cash prize of two thousand pesos.

Swimming prodigy Brandon Willis W. Sing won four medals in the NCR leg of Milo Little Olympics held at Marikina Sports Park last September 7 and 8. He struck gold in two events, namely the 100m backstroke and 200m individual medley, and took two more silver medals in the 200m backstroke and the 100m breaststroke events. For his feat, Brandon will compete with winners in other regional legs during the national finals to be held on October at Cebu City.
