The 2013 Overseas Chinese Water Cube Cup Singing Competition (水立方杯"海外华裔青少年中文歌曲大赛) was held from July 27 to August 8, 2013 at the Beijing Television (BTV) Studio in Beijing, China. Forty-three contestants representing eighteen countries from five different continents and twenty-two districts from all over China competed in the tournament. The Philippines was represented by CKSC alumni Jimmy Chung and Dean Kyle Ang, both winners in the Philippine elimination round for this competition.

The two Philippine representatives, along with Australia's Andrew Wang, came to be known as the boy band of the competition due to their unique voice harmony. Also, the Philippines' Jimmy Chung, Malaysian professional singer Catherine Soon, Netherland's Mike Cong and Spain's 邵震上 opened the 2013 Water Cube Cup Singing Competition television debut with the song "My Future is not a Dream" (我的未来不是夢). On August 3, the top six contestants were finally announced and three special awards were also presented. Dean Kyle Ang took one of the special honors as he was presented with the "Most Promising Singer Award".

Last year, the Philippines' Ann Abigail Garza emerged overall champion in the competition, with then fourth year high school student Raenelle Ean Ngo taking third prize. Both Garza and Ngo are also products of Chiang Kai Shek College.

Congratulations again!
