When it rains, it pours!

After successfully bringing home laurels from three competitions in Hong Kong, including an overall championship title for Patrick Matthew Chan, CKSC students again showed they are a force to reckon with by reaping more awards during the 9th IMC - International Mathematics Competition 2013 last August 2 to 5 at the Lion City of Asia - Singapore.

Jan Kendrick Ong was the biggest winner in the Singapore tilt as he emerged Grand Champion for Grade 8 level. He also copped the gold prize. Fellow high school students Terence Brian Tsai and Andrew Brandon Ong fared as well, winning the gold and silver prizes, respectively.

Eight grade school students also took honors in Singapore. Leading the pack was Ryan Jericho Sy, a grade five student, who won the gold prize. Jhervey Edric Cheng and Daniel Paul Li took medals as silver prize winners, while Trisha Danielle Sia, Timothy Bryan Wong, Jacob Lim, Sunny Sy, and Derick Pan each bagged individual bronze prizes.

Last June, Clyde Wesley Ang also won a gold medal in the individual competition of the prestigious Bulgaria International Mathematics Competition at Burgas, Bulgaria in Europe. During the same event, Andrew Brandon Ong also took the merit award.

Kudos to the student achievers and their trainers!
